Designed in collaboration with Przemysław Smalcerz, this open-plan studio employs clever spatial solutions to create multiple environments within a single space. The centerpiece is a multifunctional box structure housing both a fold-away bed and wardrobe, allowing the apartment to transition effortlessly between configurations.
The layout divides naturally into a practical day zone with an integrated kitchen and mini-island for busy lifestyles, and a more private area concealed behind a canvas curtain. Here, a sliding wall can incorporate the freestanding bathtub into the open space when desired, blurring boundaries between functional areas. When entertaining, the fold-away bed disappears into the wall, and a hidden round dining table with six chairs emerges, transforming the intimate home into a social venue that extends onto a spacious terrace.
Creating adaptability within limited space required innovative solutions. White walls and wooden floors provide a modernist canvas, while raw concrete ceilings add industrial character. Carefully selected Art Deco elements and Tamara de Lempicka artwork deliver sophisticated Art Deco personality. The result balances transformation and style—a space that adapts to daily life while maintaining artistic integrity.
